Crashing could be solved

Post  Colm on 7th May 2012, 10:40 am

Hello, I think I could of solved the crashing issue, but this isn't good for anyone.

This looks like the server issue itself, it can't handle the 'ping'.

The only way I think that could work is change the library where it's in on the server itself, so this means an IP change.

I'm not sure on what to do. Should I change the IP and see if it works or would you just want the same IP and it crashing all the time?

change the IP, it's not like anyone knows it anyway XD
we just have it saved to minecraft.

i recomend putting the MOTD as soemthing like:
Check the site for the details on when we will be getting the new ping.

Or somat.

Well this is what I 'think' but it may not be the case. As i've mainly finished working on the plugins now it's time to completely work on the crashing issue. I have a few more tricks up my sleeve and if none work i'll change the position which will change the dedicated ip.

Well I know con just posted but... You'll know when the IP changed when you can't login to the server, but if I do I might keep that IP open for a week or 2, but you can't do anything but read a sign with the new IP and also in the server description it will say the new ip.

Don't worry, if I am going to change it, everyone who logs in will know.
